VIRGINIA DRIVER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM DRIVERS
Our Driver Improvement Program rewards safe drivers and warns potentially unsafe drivers in advance. You may work through those 8 hours all in one day if you choose, or you may spread it out over a longer period of time. To reduce these odds, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles has created a different kind of crash course. The Virginia driver improvement program meets the state-mandated 8-hour length requirement. The odds are one out of four that you will be involved in a crash during your lifetime. In Virginia a vehicle crash occurs every three minutes. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted. Points and the Driver Improvement Program. We offer courses for drivers from all over the United States, including those in Michigan, Missouri, and Virginia. Help Desk hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. Our online driver improvement courses offer drivers of all ages an easy, effortless, convenient way to dismiss your traffic ticket, reduce points from your driving record, or even earn hefty discounts on your monthly insurance rates. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by calling our Help Desk, 70 or through the online course login page. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you.
VIRGINIA DRIVER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM REGISTRATION
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information that you provide in our online registration process. If you are uncertain which category fits your situation, you are welcome to contact us prior to attending class. Failing to complete this requirement within 90 days will result in the loss of your driving privileges. The student will receive a National Safety Council Certificate of Completion for each part of the course as they complete them.Your Reason for Taking a Driver Improvement ClinicĪ general summary of some common reasons students attend driver improvement clinics can be found on our home page. If you have accumulated 12 or more demerit points within 12 months or 18 demerit points within 24 months, the DMV may require you to complete a driver improvement program.
We offer the 8-Hour Portsmouth Driver Improvement Clinic / Point Reduction Class for DMV directed, court ordered, and voluntary participants. Click the "FEES" tab for payment through Pay-pal or by credit/debit card. We are a Portsmouth Virginia DMV Approved and AAA Certified Driver Improvement Clinic.We are recognized by all of the courts in Portsmouth Va and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Part One of the 2 part in-class course is $70. Register and pay for both classes individually. Then, look for the next RADEP part 2 course, which will be conducted at the location to be determined on a case by case basis each month. The Virginia DMV approved 8 hour driver improvement clinic must be taken first, so check the "Schedules" tab for those classes at either the Chesterfield or Staples Mill locations. There is no option for taking either of these classes online, or with another company. The student must complete both parts of this course through Be Better Drivers, but they do not have to be completed back to back. This course incorporates the National Safety Council's premier 8 hour Defensive Driving Course, with the NSC's unique, behavioral focused, Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving course, to meet and exceed the 12 hour reckless/aggressive driver education program requirements (RADEP).
